Her current band features Jack Gale on drums and her cousin, John Hopkins, on bass. Her musical influences from the world of blues include Stevie Ray Vaughan, T-Bone Walker, Billie Holiday, Ronnie Earl and Magic Sam. From the world of rock, she names Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, U2, Heart, Aerosmith and Santana as favorites.
